Two things:
Congrats!
You have the exact Land Cruiser that's been in my head recently. I've driven nothing but cars for the past 10 years, but for some reason that generation of Land Cruiser keeps sneaking in my head when I think about replacing my lease that runs out in 13 months. Please tell me it's awful and I don't want one.

1. thanks!
2. Im sorry. I really am. There is nothing you can do from this point. Once an 80 series is in your head there is no way out. on a related note; Congratulations on your eventual 80 series purchase!
Seriously though, if you have any questions, let me know.

I had the same Shaq poster as a kid. The 90's were when Florida was cool.

That's intensely distressing to hear. I like new, fast cars, not lumbering old land beasts.
It makes no sense at all, one day I saw something in an email about when my lease ended, and got to thinking. The new WRX's are all me, but I'm 6'7" and large so I'm not sure they'd even fit me. The Genesis is interesting, but is $50K+ really my price range (yeah, I'd need the R-Spec)?
Then boom out of thin air, I hadn't read anything about them, I didn't even know much about them, but the idea of something that fit my ample carriage better, and was in some way a "classic" led my mind to the 80-Series. My car knowledge is vast, more vast than it should be, but for some reason this vehicle had just never crossed my radar. The more I learn about them, the more I confirm that, yes, this is in fact an automobile I could cherish. It's freaky.
I'll probably have questions in the next year, for sure. For now though, have you written on yours at all or do you know of any writings that accurately describe ownership of the vehicle?
I guess you can't help who/what you fall in love with, but I want to know why this wagon has invaded my mind!

I know that story well I had a 2005 Subaru Forester XT manual, a quicker than the WRX is up of its time. the reasons I still don't understand I was overcome with the urge to look up Land Cruisers. it consumed me to the point where I was losing sleep over it. I bought one and now I can sleep. it's definitely less of a car and more than experience in an organization that you belong to. I have written probably too much about mine under the tag oppositelock.Jalopnik.Com\tag\cruisin

SMDH, well, I'll either find one and buy one probably, or I'll find Toyota's mind control transmitter before my lease runs up. May be this is how they get so many people to buy Camry's?
